Propose has collated a long list of customer requests that could be completed at a faster pace than a full project. This lists the full scope of quick wins to be released.
Removal of Mandatory Fields
Many of our users noted the issues the restrictions within the proposal templates were causing them with many of the fields being mandatory.
Based on the feedback received, we have stripped out all mandatory fields from the proposals, meaning that users will have the ability to delete and leave any section of content blank within their proposals, leaving them with much more freedom.
We have also removed the pre-formatted, undeletable text within the cover pages for Artemis and Freya templates.
Inform BrightManager of Sent Proposals
You will now see within the timeline on your client within BrightManager a note when a proposal is sent from BrightPropose, this will be a very similar notification as you receive when a proposal is signed, but this should allow you to keep track of what you’ve sent while working within AM.
Faster Proposals
We have optimised the proposal-sending process which means when a client receives a proposal they should be able to view their proposal at much faster speeds! We have also optimised mobile to allow users to easily view the proposals on their mobile devices.
Summary Block - Notes sections
We were asked if we could add a notes section to the summary page so you could add notes to your clients regarding pricing or anything you like! and we delivered! Within the summary block, you will now be able to add text which displays below the total of your services
Duplication of Services, LoE’s and Proposal Templates
As heavily requested, we have added the ability for you to duplicate your services, letters of engagement and proposal templates. This will create a direct copy of the selected item which you can edit and rename as you like.
You can do this by clicking the duplication icon next to the item you want to duplicate
Displaying linked Services within the custom fields page
We were asked to be able to see which services custom fields were linked to when viewing and editing custom fields.
We have added the ability to view this within the custom fields page
Emails now come from you!
One of the big requests we’ve received is to make the emails sent from Propose come from the practice.
We have a larger development planned in the future to have the emails come directly from your email addresses, but for the time being, we have altered the name of the sender in the emails to be your business.
This means, that instead of emails coming from BrightPropose, they will come from you, for example Janus Entertainment
Template Fonts
A small update, but we have added a larger list of fonts available for the proposals and and any of your other templates such as emails.
Lost Status for Proposals
We have added a new status for proposals, ‘Lost’, this will allow you to manually mark down proposals as lost so you can keep track on the proposals you send.
Removal of mandatory AM service linking
Currently within Propose, you were required to link an AM service whenever creating a service in Propose, but we were asked to remove this as sometimes users wanted to keep Propose services distant from those in AM for things such as tasks.
You asked and we delivered, this is now an optional field!
Remove LoE from proposals
A new global setting has been added to a preferences tab within your settings. By turning LoE’s off, when you create a proposal, you will no longer be required to select an LoE and your users will only sign a proposal.
This is for users who want to use the LoE from BrightManager only.
