Setting up your own personal SMTP details will allow you to send emails from BrightPropose using your own personal email address. This means when you send a proposal to a client, they will be receiving this from you instead of the default noreply@propose.brightsg.com address.
Getting your SMTP details
You can setup custom SMTP details for both Outlook 365 and Gmail. Follow the steps below to get your SMTP details.
Outlook 365

Login into your Outlook 365 account

Go to the Email -> Sync email page.

In the section labelled ‘POP and IMAP’, click on the link POP, IMAP, and SMTP settings.

The link will take you to an Outlook article listing the details you need for your SMTP.
Gmail

Login into your Gmail account

Go to settings -> See all settings

Go to the tab titled ‘Forwarding and POP/IMAP’

Under the POP download section, click on the ‘Configuration instructions’ link in Step 3

The link will take you to a Gmail article listing the details you need for your SMTP.
Filling in the SMTP form on BrightPropose
Once you have your SMTP details, follow the steps below to link your SMTP details with BrightPropose

Go to the Settings Module

Go to the Email Setting tab

Select the ‘Send outgoing emails from my business email address (complete credentials below)’ option

Fill in the SMTP form.
Once you have saved your details, it is crucial to confirm that you have received the test email before sending out proposals.
